Grade 6/7 A (Rising in 25-26 School Year) - Small Learning Community | 4/13/2025 | Wednesday & Sunday | 7 PM EST | TBA | In this course, middle schoolers will write in various modalities to include: creative writing, expository essays, persuasive essays, speech writing and literary responses. Small groups will emphasize strong sentence/paragraph writing, grammar, developing voice, collaboration on written work, peer editing/tangible feedback. Finally to foster communication skills, students will give small group presentations and partake in discussions about written work. |
